What 2M pregnant women taught me about human timelines.

What 2M pregnant women taught me about human timelines.

Fifteen years ago, I built something called 40 Weeks, later Totally Pregnant. An app that walked pregnant women through their pregnancy week by week. It reached two million users. Forbes put it in their Top 10 health apps. I didn't set out to build a tech company. I set out to answer one question: what does a person actually need to know, and feel, at exactly this point in their journey, not generically, not eventually, but right now?

That question never left me. Every project I've built since, brand campaigns, organizational change work, my own recovery, has been some version of the same structure: where are you on the timeline, what's actually happening at this exact point, and what do you need next.

I call the framework Human Time now. It's the same idea that powered those two million users, rebuilt for anyone, a patient, a client, a team, a person going through something hard, regardless of where they're starting from. A timeline of what's actually happening. Real-time, not generic. Because the thing I learned from pregnant women scared about week 12 is the same thing I've learned from CEOs scared about a culture collapsing, or from myself, at the hardest point of my own life: nobody needs the whole roadmap. They need to know what's true right now, and what comes next.

That's still the whole job.
